My journey truly began because of my love for animals. It was always apparent to me from elementary school that drawing and working with animals is what I wanted to do. From creating my first kangaroo book in third grade to volunteering at a horse barn in middle school, animals were my passion. My art journey has had its ups and downs since middle school, where I was accepted into a middle school art magnet and learned the basics. After that, I've been primarily self-taught, learning diverse media from alcohol markers, colored pencils, acrylic paint, digital painting, and even dog grooming.
In my life, I have always struggled with mental health, but art has always been a light. Shortly after high school, I attended college for zoology, but quickly realized more schooling wasn't helping my mental health. I discovered a boarding school with a horse barn and landed a job that I will never forget. Being with horses and in nature made me feel bright and fulfilled inside, something I want to share with others. That same year, I obtained a job working under a dog show groomer, which further pushed my creative eye for shapes and balance.
In 2025, I drew my first dog portrait after the unexpected passing of a dog I had been grooming for a while. The death of her truly affected me, and I know it affected the family, too. Seeing the faces of the family and friends after receiving the portrait changed something in me. It showed me that I can make a difference for those who have lost a pet or love their pets to the ends of the earth.
My mission is to show your pets sparkle and bring the ones you’ve lost closer to you. Every animal fascinates me, real, mythical, even cryptids; all have stories and instincts I want to share with you so they are never lost or forgotten.
In 2025 I was given the opportunity to create a logo for my boss's new training facility. It bring me immense joy and pride to see banner and cards displayed.
